How to Get rid of Arestocrat Virus which has Blocked Your Computer

First of all, I find that my computer get a warning message that your computer has been locked and I am asked to pay to an amount of fine of $300 to unlock my computer in 48 hours.

Second, the message states I need to prepay the fee via Moneypak, Ukash or similar payment system.

Three, if I don’t pay the fine, I will be arrested by local police according to the text listed on my screen. I am cannot sure if that is a true one or not.

Four, I cannot touch any key on my computer, and my mouse has been dysfunctional, it just likes the warning text saying, my computer has been blocked.

Five, when I open my computer, the locked screen of by Arestocrat Ransomware displays all over my desktop screen, and I find that I cannot minimize the window of screen.

Six, I try to restart my computer and then sign in safe mode, safe mode with network and safe mode with command prompt, but I cannot log in any mode, when I choose any mode, I just get the popup of the locked which is the same as on the normal mode.

As you know, my computer has been locked and I cannot use it to search something on the internet, so I use my Iphone to search something about Arestocrat. The search results make me shocked, for when I type Arestocrat on my IE search box, it appears the words like ransomware, virus, and scam on the box. I read carefully some post about this program, and I ultimately realize that my computer has gotten a scam virus called Arestocrat ransomware. I also know that it is a kind of Ukash virus or Police virus, and it can do the things like United States Courts Virus, MoneyPak virus, Mandiant U.S.A Cyber Security Virus, FBI virus, Department of Justice virus and U.S. Department of Homeland Security virus which are very common to see recently for the computers users in the United States, Europe, Austria and Canada. From the internet, I notice that Arestocrat infection is a big threat for the attacked computer, for this virus will totally block the system, and disable all tasks on the computer. And it is a tricky scam which wants to trap victims into paying the fee. It can attack poor protection computers and users, who are not familiar with computer, once this ransomware runs into target computer, it will lock down the attacked system and then display a bogus alert saying that YOUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN LOKED, and the sender of this message is from FBI, Department of Justice or other governmental authority. The truth of Arestocrat ransomware is a fraud program designed by the cyber crooks who want to trap I into paying the fee and they claims that if I pay the fine, my computer will unblocked automatically. Thanks to God and the internet, I am lucky to find out its reality and I have not paid the fee.  

I have concluded several damages from Arestocrat Virus 

Firstly, Arestocrat Virus is a dangerous ransomware which can sneak into target computer stealthily.

Secondly, this infection will lock down attacked system after running into it.

Thirdly, it can disable to use the desktop screen and stop all the tasks on the system, touch mouse and tap any keys no way to use system normally.

Fourthly, Arestocrat infection will display popingup warning alert and ask me to pay a fine of $300 via its certain payment channels like Moneypak, Ukash system.

Fifthly, this virus is created by cyber criminals who want to cheat the poor knowledge of computer users into paying fee to unblock system.

Sixthly, I search online and find that if users pay the fine, their computers are still locked and when they find this scam and try to get money back, they cannot do that for there are no the clues to track their money back.

In Order to Unlock the PC by Arestocrat Virus, What Should I Do?

I have searched online by my phone and I have found many cases like me who suffer the same problem with me. I follow some steps which are listed by those attackers. To help you solve this virus from your attacked computer, I will list some methods as follows:

Method 1. If your computer is so lucky that you can log on the safe mode with network. (I want to tell you that this virus cans popup if you sign in normal mode).

Step 1. Restart computer, and then sign in safe mode with network.

Restart your infected computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap "F8" key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the "Safe Mode with Networking" option, and then press ENTER. 

Step 2. Go to Start menu, and choose Run and then type %profile% into the search field and press enter. Please delete all the related files about Arestocrat Virus.

Step 6. Remove all the added files as listed:

Method 2.your computer cannot enter with safe mode with network, please choose safe mode with command prompt.

Means to my computer sign in safe mode with command prompt.

Restart your infected computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap "F8" key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the "Safe Mode with command prompt” option, and then press ENTER. 

The rest steps are the same with method 1.

Method 3. Choose “Repair your computer”

Restart your infected computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap "F8" key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the " Repair your computer” option, and then press ENTER.

In the end, please reboot your attacked computer, and then check if the virus has been removed completely.
